Gifting & Granting Committee
The Gifting & Granting committee is responsible for all fund raising and grant applications. The committee is looking individuals with good writing skills, or event planning skills. Leadership Committee
The Leadership Committee Works directly with youth and youth-led events such as Jump Start, Prom and Days of Action. Volunteers will need Act 33/34 clearances in order to work around youth. Student and Teacher Education Committee
The Student and Teacher Education Committee works to identify, create and execute GLSEN Pittsburgh's training efforts. This committee is working to identify the training needs within GLSEN Pittsburgh's service area and is also in search of a "Training and Program Management/Coordinator" contractor position. Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is comprised of Board Members of GLSEN Pittsburgh. In order to serve on this committee you must be a current board member. All officers of the Board are members of this committee, the officers of this committee also choose one "at-large" board member to join. vdavis@glsenpgh.org
Networking Committee
The Networking Committee works with other organizations in the area and tables at Pride & other events to increase involvement and awareness. This committee is currently looking for people interested in political activism and community organizing to spearhead our first ever advocacy campaign. People 2 People Committee
The People to People committee is responsible for keeping everyone updated about the current events of GLSEN Pittsburgh! This committee is responsible for the marketing efforts of the chapter. They engage the community thruogh social media outlets, newsletters and E-Blasts! This committee is looking for individuals with experience in marketing and/or graphic design.
